What story would you like?

This is Asad, one of my Khamsin warriors of the wind, as drawn by reader Cesiah Asturias. Talk about talent!

It makes me want to write his story, even though I had no intentions of doing so. Cesiah drew Asad because she likes this character a lot (he's Fatima's twin brother from The Sword and the Sheath) and was hoping I'd write his story.

Have you ever read a novel and wished for the author wrote another character's book as well or would write a different couple's story?

BTW, happy belated birthday to JENNIFER ASHLEY!

I remember Asad! Nice picture. I liked him too.

Thank you for the bday wish. I had fun.

There are authors I wish would (or could) write more, period. My friend Rhonda Woodward wrote fabulous Regencies before the Signet Regency program was cancelled. I wish I could read more of hers!

Another Ronda, Ronda Thompson, passed away a couple years ago, so her voice is silenced. :-( I'd been looking forward to more about her werewolf supermodel character.

Sorry, didn't mean to bring down the room!

I wanted Linda Howard to write about Zane and Barry's little girl from the Mackenzie series.

She has stated publicly that she won't because then her main characters Wolf and Mary could possibly be dead.

I re-read that series at least once a year. So I regularly would love for her to write more on the family.

Also I want more SHAREEM, Jennifer! I love that series.

Happy Belated Birthday.

Oh yes, Ronda. Sniff. :(

Glad you had a good bday!

Kendra, we're on the same page! I love Zoe. Remember how she painted her patent leather shoes with red lipstick? LOL!

Kendra: I just told Tales of the Shareem: Calder. Yep. My editor has it.

I sooo wanted the final book to Brenda Joyce's "Deadly" mystery series, set in New York. I wanted sleuth Francesca Cahill and her "bad boy" hero, Calder Hart, to get their happy ending.

But seems like Brenda changed publishers mid-series and the new publisher tanked the series finale because it wasn't selling quite as phenomenally as her other books.

Boo-hiss.
