What Santa does here in Florida

Merry Christmas from the Vanak house in sunny Florida to you, happy holidays and best wishes for a peaceful, prosperous New Year!

Ok, now you're just showing off, Bonnie. We've got two feet of snow here in Boston! and some of the poor folk in New Hampshire have been without power for a week after a humungus ice storm.

I'm crossing my fingers and toes we get a break from the rolling storms so our oldest daughter can fly in tomorrow night.

Merry Christmas and safe travels all!

Emily, I hope your daughter is able to make it! All my husband's New Hampshire friends are sending him amazing pictures.

Bonnie, I think Florida has enough misery in summer to deserve their balmy Christmas.

Happy holidays to you all! :)

I'm in a similar climate to Bonnie's. Tonight my dh and I drove around and looked at all the holiday displays--palm trees, mesquites, and cacti loaded with Christmas lights! Pretty. :-)

LOL Emily, but I hope your daughter gets home safely. I do miss snow at Christmas. Just don't miss shoveling it (grew up in Jersey)

You got it Gillian... each ending of November when we haven't had a hurricane I breathe a sigh of relief!

Jennifer, I've found people decorate more in Florida than they did in my old neighborhood in Jersey, probably because the climate is temperate, we miss snow, and make up for it in outdoor decorations. Tonight we're going to walk around our neighborhood and see all the lights.

Happy holidays all!
